It was a beautiful Saturday, too beautiful to waste indoors. Me and my other half (my bff), decided to go to the park and read. (We didn't do any reading.) All we did was talk about the good old times, our high school days together, and how things were a lot easier back then. Almost everyday of freshman year of HS, we would take turns going to each other's houses and have our parents pick us up when they got home from work. We would watch TRL, go swimming, and then do a little bit of homework. That was the life. Now things are complicated with work, career, etc.
After a couple hours under the shady tree, we decided to go look up some recipes to cook for dinner. I remember coming across some really cool food/recipe blogs, but I can't find them anymore. But we ended up making Tandoori Chicken w/ corn for dinner. We didn't want to clean the grill so we just fried it in a pan. It would've been way better grilled. We also baked
cream puffs,
strawberry tart, and
banana cream pie. We were suppose to make flan (cause I'm craving it), but we forgot all about it.
