I just rewatched The Davinci Code in anticipation for Angels and Demons which opens on 5/15. I loved the movie. But also note that I did not read the books so the element of surprise was there for me.

It was a beautiful Saturday, too beautiful to waste indoors. Me and my other half (my bff), decided to go to the park and read. (We didn't do any reading.) All we did was talk about the good old times, our high school days together, and how things were a lot easier back then. Almost everyday of freshman year of HS, we would take turns going to each other's houses and have our parents pick us up when they got home from work. We would watch TRL, go swimming, and then do a little bit of homework. That was the life. Now things are complicated with work, career, etc.

After a couple hours under the shady tree, we decided to go look up some recipes to cook for dinner. I remember coming across some really cool food/recipe blogs, but I can't find them anymore. But we ended up making Tandoori Chicken w/ corn for dinner. We didn't want to clean the grill so we just fried it in a pan. It would've been way better grilled. We also baked cream puffs, strawberry tart, and banana cream pie. We were suppose to make flan (cause I'm craving it), but we forgot all about it.

I loved Atonement. Knightley and McAvoy were amazing in it. Here they are, together again in the upcoming June issue of Empire mag.

How can anyone resist the Scottish vacuum of charm.
All of winter, I managed to get by without even a cough and all of a sudden, with the sudden summer weather of 98 degrees and then right back to winter again, my body couldn't take it anymore. So now I sit at work, with my watery eyes, my random coughing outburst, and my nonstop running nose. I have a few calls I need to jump on and a dept. meeting before I can allow them to kick me out. My office neighbor yelled at me telling me to go home. I think he has something special going on this weekend.

I'm glad to report that Tylenol Cold pills are now sugar coated.

My girlfriends and I just locked down Hawaii last night. Our flights and hotels are booked. Now it's time to figure out what to do for that entire week (Sept 19th - 26th). I want to cliff jump into a lake next to a waterfall (Can I do that on Oahu?). For half of us who's going, it will be their first time, so we'll do the typical, surfing, snorkeling, luau, shopping. I think the Pineapple factory is closed, and I've been to the Cultural Center twice. What else is a must do in Waikiki?

It's Britney bitch

I went to see Britney last night. This was my first Britney concert. The concert was a lot of fun (the margarita might of gave it a little extra kick). There was this one very impressive circus act before Britney came on. It was this acrobatic girl doing flips on some bendy beam that was held up by two guys. I'm not explaining it right, but it was very exciting. I got nervous for her. She stuck all her landings.

Me and my cousin didn't bring our cameras and my stupid bbstorm couldn't take any clear pictures. But that allowed me to enjoy more of the concert than concentrate on taking good photos. And we also knew that other people who sat closer would take pictures and post them.

She performed almost all my favorite songs.

I'm off to see Mamma Mia at the Pantages today, then 17 Again. A full report/review will soon come.

PCD
I was really surprised that they were amazing live. I had heard that they suck live, but they rocked it!

love in the afternoon

The boyfriend use to be more romantic. Why is it that boys try harder in the beginning?

Before we started dating, me and some friends (including said bf) went on a midnight hike and I had mentioned to him that I wanted someone to name a star for me, just like in A Walk to Remember. So for my first birthday we spent together, he had a star named after me.

I had also told him I never had anyone officially ask me to be their Valentine. So one day before our first Vday together, I walked into his apartment where he surprised me with candles and flower petals spelled out with 'Will you be my valentine'.

Let me state that this was four years ago. It's about time he brought back some romance into the relationship. I am planning to somehow slip in the fact that I never had and always wanted to have a picnic and spend hours on a canoe.

My inspiration
Love in the Afternoon (which I'm currently watching)

The Notebook

What a Girl Wants

Enchanted

Any other romantic ideas I need to slip him? (He can be pretty unimaginative)

the major and the minor

One of my TOP favorites.

I'm making the boyfriend watch it tonight.

Ginger Rogers is fabulous!

Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire

Look what I found! I was only looking for the trailer but the entire movie is on youtube. Enjoy.

There are so many Classics, I don't know how I'll get through all of them. On deck is Rear Window, The Philadelphia Story, and Love in the Afternoon
Why can't bosses ever remember their own passwords?

Good to know the bosses will be lost without me. Cheers, for job security.

bitch pleeze...

Can't wait til 17 Again.

more pics

After I watched the Hannah Montana Movie on Saturday, I went to watch Adventureland. Despite the good reviews, I didn't expect much from the movie. It turned out to be pretty good. It was really funny. I was never a Kristen Stewart fan, and she started growing on me because of Twilight. But every character she played all has the same characteristics. She seemed to always add that awkwardness to all the troubled youth roles she gets. Bitch pleeze...

On a site note, I can't wait til New Moon. HAHA

Hader and Wiig were hilarious.

diet #103,434,653...

Whole Foods has the greatest Corn and Arugula Salad.

This is my umpteenth time I am restricting myself to a strict diet, in attempt to look decent for the kick off of summer. Me and my NY besties are going to Montreal for Memorial Day weekend. I'm sure Terry has been keeping to her "summer diet regime" so she'll look killer. If my body doesn't agree with any bathing suit at that time, I will have to focus so that I may be ready for my Hawaii trip in September. There's no getting away with not wearing a bikini in Hawaii...

which means... Lots of vegetables, NO COFFEE and NO SWEETS.

I really want to avoid the one-week-prior-vacation anorexia diet if possible.

Damn that two hour nap today. I can't seem to fall asleep. I have a feeling I will be paying for it at work tomorrow.

Smiley Miley

Yes, my teeny bopper friend and I went to watch the Hannah Montana movie. I really liked it. It was fun to watch and very entertaining. And to my surprise, I was very impressed with Miley's acting. She did a great job. I am definitely rooting for her to succeed in the biz.

<3 this song

Taylor Swift - Craizer is also a great song in the movie.

Nick and Miley lunched on Saturday 4/11.

bloop.

Today is very blah. It seems that everyone has started their holiday weekend early.

It's only 10am and it seems that I am done for the day as well. No phone calls, no emails, no reports. How shall I pass my time? This is how. It seems to be doing the trick in getting me out of my blah mood.

Bloopers always makes me wish I was an actress. It's so much fun to be on set.

extract

Extract (Miramax)

First look at Mike Judge's latest comedy "Extract" starring Jason Bateman, Mila Kunis, Ben Affleck, Kristen Wiig, J.K. Simmons, and Clifton Collins Jr. In the film, Jason Bateman plays a flower-extract plant owner who sees his life crumbling around him.

Looks hilarious.

it's friday night

It's time to play.

Cute couple alert. I wish me and the boyfriend looked as good as they do together.

I'm also really feeling her hair color.

a good year

I recently netflixed A Good Year. It's a cute movie, and of course the lovely Marion Cotillard was in it (which was why it made it into my queue in the first place). The boyfriend even liked it.

transformers

The boyfriend and I were in bed last night flipping through channels. With The Office returning next week, we were happy to rewatch Transformers on HBO.

I can't wait for the Tranformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen, opening on June 26.

Cheers

Happy Friday.

It's been a pretty chill week. The bosses were at ShoWest the entire week so it was pretty calm and quiet for me. I guess that meant that I had the entire week to blog but I somehow found myself addicted to watching Netflix online.

so here's the first post of the day, with many more to come.

I really like white denim but I will not be able to go through a day and not get coffee, dirt, or pen on it.
