The Notebook was the first real movie that I walked out of the theater BALLING! I mean, non-stop crying. Usually when I cry in movies, it's just tears, but this one... I couldn't stop crying... At one point, I wasn't difficult to breathe.

I really hope no one dies in either of these upcoming movies. Usually someone dies in Sparks' stories.
This is exactly the kind of film I love to watch, significant stories about real people and their affairs. And you love everything that happens in the movie until you go home to google more about the love story and realize what you saw was not exactly the truth. Of course things were changed to enhance the movie experience, but I can't help but want what I saw to be exactly the truth. (Same situation with Becoming Jane.)
She rises daily before 6 a.m., plays tennis and has her hair and makeup done, then gets to Vogue's offices at 8 a.m. She always arrives at fashion shows at their scheduled starting time. "I use the waiting time to make phone calls and notes; I get some of my best ideas at the shows," she says. According to the BBC documentary Boss Woman, she is similarly efficient with her time elsewhere in her day, rarely staying at parties for more than 20 minutes at a time and getting to bed by 10:15 every night. I am so in love with Shia.
Final Transformers trailer. Looks so badass!
GI Joe trailer looks pretty sick too. but where is JGL?
I just watched Priceless for the 2nd time this week! I love this movie! Audrey Tautou is fabulous, and so fricken hot! Terry and I were watching it on Netflix at work, while commenting through IM. (I guess we're not too busy this week). We would watch it together and pause together. It's fun. I love watching movies with her. Also, cause we love all the same movies.
The English trailer doesn't do it justice, so here is the blurry French trailer w/ English Subtitles.
First look at Mike Judge's latest comedy "Extract" starring Jason Bateman, Mila Kunis, Ben Affleck, Kristen Wiig, J.K. Simmons, and Clifton Collins Jr. In the film, Jason Bateman plays a flower-extract plant owner who sees his life crumbling around him.
I recently netflixed A Good Year. It's a cute movie, and of course the lovely Marion Cotillard was in it (which was why it made it into my queue in the first place). The boyfriend even liked it.
All my weekly calls that usually happen on Thursdays moved up to yesterday so today will be one LONG BORING day. Maybe I should go shopping during lunch.
Yesterday, I netflixed Happy-Go-Lucky. The main character came off really annoyingly happy, but then she grew on me. And she got cuter at the end too. I love how she goes with the flow and doesn't really let anything get her down.
Zoe: You can't make everyone happy. Poppy: There's no harm in trying that Zoe, is there?
He is no longer in the 'early twenties' category. He is practically mid-twenties now. I feel kind of bad because I don't have any tricks up my sleeves this year. I usually have some sort of surprise for him, but today, rien. Well not exactly nothing, I am going to run out at lunch and get him some cupcakes. But it sucks that he has nothing to unwrap tonight since I already bought him the PS3 and he couldn't wait until his birthday to get it.

I am currently reading the 500 Days Of Summer screen play and I LOVE IT. I can't wait til the movie comes out. (7/17/09)
Happy Birthday Cheldy! Since I missed her birthday celebration on Saturday, we had plans to meet at The Grove for her actual birthday. We planed to eat at The Farm, which is right next to the theatre, and as the the theatre entrance came to view, I noticed there was a red carpet event. As I walked closer, I saw that it's the premiere for Sunshine Cleaning.
And I saw Emily Blunt looking fabulous standing next to Amy Adams being interviewed. We were instructed to move along, and not stand and stare. So we were heading towards Nordstrom when an Overture rep came over and asked if we wanted to attend the screening. Too bad that there were only available seats in the front section. And since it was Cheldy's birthday, I didn't want to make her watch Sunshine Cleaning, (not really her type of movie). So we walked out and and Emily make eye contact with me just as she gets in the elevator. And then walking out, I saw Amy heading in, looking fab in her white pant suit. I should have been on the look out for John Krasinski. Man it's embarrassing how star struck I get.
So we didn't end up watching the movie, but I'm sure it's good. I'll catch it on opens on March 27th.
